We finally paid our first visit to Rockaway Taco earlier this summer. And now, a trip to the beach and a stop for some tacos is a weekly jaunt. As with most delicious things we eat, ice cream inspiration struck upon first bite of Rockaway’s plantain chips. So we took some home, painted (yes, painted) them in chocolate, crushed ‘em up, and threw them in our chocolate ice cream (made with Mast Bro’s of course). So good, we may have to deliver it to our members next month.
